A device id that your browser creates and keeps on this site. It is the only identity this service has — it is what makes "your files" mean anything. It stays in your browser and is only sent back to this site when you use it.

Basic details about each file: its original name, the name you see, its size, its extension, the kind of file it is, a checksum used to confirm it arrived intact, and the dates involved.

The files themselves, kept in private storage. They are never publicly listed, and opening one always requires this service to check who is asking first.

When someone opens a share link we note that a download happened, which link it came through, and how much data was sent.

We do NOT store your IP address. We store an unreadable version of it mixed with the current date. It cannot be worked back to your address, and because the date is part of it, today's value differs from tomorrow's — so it cannot be used to follow you from one day to the next.

We keep a rough country if our network supplies one, plus the family of browser and operating system used, and the address of the site that sent the visitor. Download records are deleted automatically after the set period.

A device id cookie that matches the id stored on this site, so download links and QR images can recognise you. It is set so that other websites cannot trigger it on your behalf.

Opening a password-protected link sets one cookie for that link only, so you are not asked for the password again while you browse it.

There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Nobody, until you create a share link. Files can only be seen and downloaded from the browser that uploaded them.

Anyone holding a share link can open it, within whatever password, end date, download limit or website restriction you set. Treat a link like a key.

The person running this site can act on reported content, and every action they take is written to a permanent log that cannot be edited.

Files always have an end date, so nothing builds up forever.

Deleting a file makes it unreachable straight away — the file itself is removed for good soon after, once a short grace period is over.

There is no account to export or close: the service keeps file details, and those go when the file does.

Delete any file or turn off any share link at any time, from the browser that uploaded it.

Turn a share link off, or replace it with a brand-new one so the old address stops working.

Clear this site's stored data and cookies to remove the device id, after which files that could only be opened with it can no longer be opened.

Files that reach their end date are removed automatically, whether or not you come back.
